Conventional Sound Strobe
- Conventional Sound Strobe
Conventional Sound Strobe
A combined audible and visual alarm device that sounds and flashes when triggered by the fire alarm control panel, giving people in the building both a loud warning and a visible one — important for anyone who might not hear the alarm clearly.
- Combined sounder + strobe in a single device
- Compatible with all conventional fire alarm control panels
- Wide operating voltage: 22–30VDC
- Two-wire, unpolarized connection
- Low average current draw for efficient loop loading
- UL FM Listed
Product Overview
The HST HS101 combines an audible sounder and a visual strobe in one device, triggered directly by the fire alarm control panel when a zone goes into alarm. Having both signal types matters in real buildings — a loud sounder alone can be missed in noisy environments or by people with hearing loss, while the strobe gives an unmistakable visual cue that carries through glass partitions and across open floors.
It runs on a wide 22–30VDC operating range with unpolarized two-wire connection, so it drops into any conventional fire alarm loop without special wiring considerations. Average current draw is kept low, which matters when several notification devices are sharing the same circuit and current budget.
Where it's used
- Offices, corridors and open-plan floors
- Hotels, hospitals and educational facilities
- Retail floors and public buildings
- Any space needing both audible & visual alarm signaling
