Product Overview
The HST HD101-B is a conventional photoelectric smoke detector suited to any area requiring standard smoke detection — offices, corridors, retail floors, and other general-purpose spaces. It uses a proven optical sensing chamber to respond well to both smouldering fires, which build slowly, and faster-developing flaming fires.
It wires into any conventional fire alarm control panel with unpolarized input, removing the risk of wiring it backwards on site. Two LEDs give 360° visibility of the detector's status: flashing red every 5 seconds in standby, faster once smoke reaches pre-alarm sensitivity, and latching solid red once in full alarm. The detector can only be reset by a momentary power interruption from the panel, and insect-resistant screening keeps false triggers from debris and pests to a minimum.
