Product Overview
The Potter PL-BBK1 (BBK-1) is a weatherproof back box built to house and protect outdoor signaling devices — bells, sirens, strobes and call points — from rain, wind, UV exposure and dust. Standard indoor electrical boxes aren't rated for this; moisture reaching the wiring or terminals can cause device failure or create an electrical hazard.
Finished in a high-visibility red, the box gives outdoor-mounted devices a cleaner, more secure look while sealing the wiring compartment against the elements. It's specified whenever a bell, siren, strobe or call point needs to be mounted outside or in a wet location.
