Product Overview
The Kidde KI-SB is the standard plastic mounting base used with Kidde Signature Series detectors. It sits between the detector head and the building wiring, carrying the signalling line circuit connection and giving installers a stable, field-serviceable mounting point.
Wiring terminals stay accessible from the room side once the base is mounted, so technicians can wire, test and swap detector heads without disturbing the base itself. It also provides a connection point for the GSA-LED remote indicator where a visible alarm status is needed outside the detector's immediate location.
