Addressable Smoke Detector
- Addressable Smoke Detector
Addressable Smoke Detector
A plug-in addressable photoelectric smoke detector for HST protocol fire alarm panels. It transmits an analog reading of smoke density back to the panel over the loop, so the system knows exactly how much smoke is present — not just a yes/no alarm state.
- Analog addressable communication — reports live smoke density
- Address stored in onboard EEPROM, set via portable address tool
- Two LEDs, panel-controlled, for 360° local status indication
- Up to 159 detectors per loop
- Plug-in base for fast install and replacement
- UL FM Listed
Product Overview
The HST HD201 is a plug-in, addressable photoelectric smoke detector built for HST protocol fire alarm panels. Unlike a conventional detector that only reports alarm/no-alarm, it sends an analog reading of smoke density back over the loop wiring, giving the panel a live picture of conditions at each individual device.
Each detector's address is stored in onboard EEPROM and set with a portable address-setting tool at install time, so there's no manual dip-switch configuration on site. Two panel-controlled LEDs give 360° visible status at the detector itself, and up to 159 of these detectors can sit on a single loop — enough for open-area coverage across a large floor or building without running multiple loops.
Where it's used
- Commercial buildings and office fit-outs
- Hotels, hospitals and factories
- Restaurants and mixed-use developments
- Open-area spaces needing loop-based addressing
